Heir of the Eighth by KimDingwall Heir of the Eighth by KimDingwall
Eighth house, that is.

A boy called Savath. Erm... full name Tiel Kiitorh Savath. I think.

He's supposed to be a whole lot younger than he looks. My sister thinks he looks 16! D: Nuuu he's supposed to be 12.

I finally drew a face of one of these guys! Look at him, all mad. If you wanted to know, only the eighth house think it's normal to keep tusks while the others think it's uncivilised. Personally I think it's annoying to draw :<

i think this portrait was done excellently, dont get me wrong. i might add though, that the tusks look a little...flat? like they just pop out of the mouth and have no root or 3 dimensional shape. just a little constructive criticism.

Yeah I did have a difficult time drawing them, not knowing what I was doing. They are meant to be pretty small, however, and well-fitting haha =P

I definitely love this boy, his eyes and that expression he always has on his face, ooohhhh, gotta learn more about him-!!
Exceptional job with the water droplets and the wet hair, maaaan I sure wish I could do wet hair like that! ♥

You are so kind! Thankyou ^_^
Water is cheatingly easy and cheatingly effective. A water drop is so easy, I bet I could even describe it with text off the top of my head! Now I want to try...
(For a drop resting on the ground). Oval outline. Small bright dot of shine on one side from light source. Darker around this dot within the droplet, growing softly lighter further away from the shine until it reaches the edge of the drop, never growing brighter than the shine. Faint shadow beneath the drop all around but darker on the opposite side of the shine. Possibly a bit of light within the darker shadow if the drop is acting like a lens. The drop will be the colours of what it's sitting on and of its surroundings.

Hmm. Sorry about that.
And hey, you said "that expression he always has"? Have you seen this boy before? O_o

Ahhh, but wet hair and wet skin are so difficult to do right! 8O

And, ahh, my bad then--I thought this was the same boy from that pencil sketch of yours??

Oh wait! Oh golly, you... um. Hmmm yes quite, hum. Uh huh. Hmmm. (awkward mumbling)
...Do you mean the one with the two different eyes? If so, I don't know how you connected those two faces when I myself had forgotten. I drew the pencil sketch a while ago and it kind of was the same character as this one but with vague abstract and artistic things all in it too, and at a different age. Pretty sure their faces don't even look the same! That drawing was more the idea of the character rather than a portrait of the character. But yes, if the other face had a name, it would be the same as the one in this picture here. But how did you...? Did you mean that one even? Or a different one?
