Exceptional job with the water droplets and the wet hair, maaaan I sure wish I could do wet hair like that! ♥
Water is cheatingly easy and cheatingly effective. A water drop is so easy, I bet I could even describe it with text off the top of my head! Now I want to try...
(For a drop resting on the ground). Oval outline. Small bright dot of shine on one side from light source. Darker around this dot within the droplet, growing softly lighter further away from the shine until it reaches the edge of the drop, never growing brighter than the shine. Faint shadow beneath the drop all around but darker on the opposite side of the shine. Possibly a bit of light within the darker shadow if the drop is acting like a lens. The drop will be the colours of what it's sitting on and of its surroundings.
Hmm. Sorry about that.
And hey, you said "that expression he always has"? Have you seen this boy before? O_o
And, ahh, my bad then--I thought this was the same boy from that pencil sketch of yours??
...Do you mean the one with the two different eyes? If so, I don't know how you connected those two faces when I myself had forgotten. I drew the pencil sketch a while ago and it kind of was the same character as this one but with vague abstract and artistic things all in it too, and at a different age. Pretty sure their faces don't even look the same! That drawing was more the idea of the character rather than a portrait of the character. But yes, if the other face had a name, it would be the same as the one in this picture here. But how did you...? Did you mean that one even? Or a different one?
